About

One mediator, start to finish.

You'll deal with me from your first enquiry through to the last session. There's no intake team and no handover, which means the person who read your questionnaire is the person in the room.

This practice is run by one mediator — an AMDRAS Accredited Mediator based in Perth, Western Australia. I work as a sole practitioner providing general mediation services to people who need a structured conversation with an impartial third person — about parenting and care arrangements, separation and property, workplace disagreements, neighbour disputes, or business and estate matters.

The mediator holds a Bachelor of Psychology, Criminology and Justice, and is an AMDRAS Accredited Mediator, nationally accredited under the Australian Mediator and Dispute Resolution Accreditation Standards — one of the more rigorous benchmarks in the field.

She is Safe and Together trained, a recognised model for understanding and responding to domestic violence and its impact on families. She's currently completing her Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner registration, building on a foundation shaped by years of direct experience with family violence matters at court and in the community, alongside formal mediation training and practice.

How I work

I don't make findings of fact about who did what. That isn't the mediator's role, and labelling one person before anything has been established wouldn't be impartial. What I do is hold a clear structure: separate intake conversations, careful screening, agreed ground rules, and a pace that lets both people think.

Safety sits ahead of progress. If what's been shared means this isn't the right process for a situation, I'll say so plainly and point to what can help instead. Closing that door gently is part of doing this properly, not a failure of the process.

I'll also be direct about the limits. Mediation isn't legal advice. I can't tell you what a court would do, and I won't promise an outcome. It's a good idea to get independent legal advice alongside the process, especially before you sign off on an agreement.
